Following the earthquake of February 2011, Canoe & Outdoor World closed and ceased operating from Pilgrim Place. But with the closing of one business, there was the opening of another!

KayakWorld is located at 35 Moorhouse Ave (The Hagley Park end) and carries the same brands that were in store at the COW. KayakWorld is now the destination for paddlers looking for leading brands of kayaks and quality equipment. Look for us in the same building as MapWorld and there is plenty of free parking right outside the door.
